Joan Leacott first encountered romantic fiction by sneaking reads of her mom’s novels as a teen. She was so passionate about romance that she now writes her own contemporary multi-generational stories featuring the lives, loves, and scandals of small-town Clarence Bay, Canada. Joan spends her winters in Toronto and her summers on the shores of Georgian Bay near the real-life model for her town Clarence Bay. When she’s not writing, Joan loves to practice her patience on her piano; equally entranced by the music and frustrated with fingers that won’t cooperate.
